On Saturday, Dustin & I dropped off our pup Luna to the best GBs in the whole world and had a weekend long date just me and “Mio Amore” (my love)=) Early afternoon we headed to the gorgeous Wentworth By The Sea Country Club in Rye, New Hampshire where our friends Ted & Emily were getting married! We LOVE everything about wedding, we danced all night long and this was extra special because we had to celebrate the love of two very wonderful people that are perfect for each other. It was a very rainy day but that did not spoil the fun at all. After the Royal Wedding hat and fascinator trend definitely hit the States and these four girls planned together to bring the Royal’s style to Ted & Emily Wedding. Of course, I – that LOVE people that dare and extravagance – could not resist but ask them to take a photo of them=)
I am braking the rule a little and post a second photo for this special day…the Bride & the Groom tempting the rain as husband and wife!

The bride and the groom were so generous that let the guests bring home the centerpieces. We were one of the few guests on our table that actually drove from the hotel to the wedding, so we got to bring home this gorgeous arrangement of flowers. Thanks Ted & Emily!

After a weekend of rain and clouds, finally on Monday evening the sky cleared out and the moon was huge. This is the the view from outside our apartment door.

After coming back from my first track meet, I realized that a film crew were prepping Davis Square and the Somerville Theater with generators, lights, cameras and cables. Someone told me that later that night they were going to shoot a brief scene for the upcoming movie, Ted, which stars Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. So, I went home took a shower had dinner and dragged Dustin & Luna out in Davis Square. It was pretty interesting to see all these extras dressed up as “Star Wars’’ characters. We sticked around for an hour or so but left before we could see them filming the scene. Apparently Mark Wahlberg showed up around midnight dressed as Darth Maul, the double-light saber-wielding villain, horns and all.

It looks like on Wednesday I sent the husband and the dog to sleep on the couch!? Ha ha The reality is that Luna wakes us up around 4:30 AM pretty much everyday. We…okay I usually let her jump on our bed and cuddle with us until 5:30, when we usually get up. However, it’s been a week that we are trying to get out of that habit=( So, when she started to whine around 4ish Dustin just got out of bed, went in the living room and slept with her on the couch. Isn’t he the best! So thisis what I saw when I first got up on Wednesday morning awww
In honor of the Bruins that won the Stanley Cup championship, one of my favorite bakery in Arlington, Quebrada, made these beautiful cupcakes. Go Bruins=)

We just came back to see Lorenzo & Valentina in the show Damn Yankees, the spring musical at WCT – Watertown Children Theater. They were amazing and it was a lot of fun! I am so proud of those kids!
Have a great weekend!
